Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The room was small and noisy at night due to the outside seating area, but the view of the green valley was beautiful. The service was top-notch, especially behind the bar, and the location offered wonderful walks in all directions. The dining was pleasant with friendly staff, but the menu felt a bit dated. Overall, a nice stay with some room for improvement.
Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, though immaculate and cosy, were rather noisy as they were located above the bar and had a slight damp smell. The service, overall exceptional and friendly, was marred by one rude staff member in the bar. The location was perfect for exploring, and the dining experience, highlighted by exceptional breakfast choices, left a lasting impression.
The hotel provided all we needed with comfy beds and a clean and comfortable environment. Brilliant for dogs with easy access to the garden from the room. However, we opted to dine at a nearby pub as it was a bit too packed for our liking.
